2019 Florida Property Tax – Summer Update

The 2018 tax year appeals have wrapped up in all jurisdictions throughout Florida and the results of the hearings are being reviewed, approved and certified by each respective Value Adjustment Board. This is the perfect time for you to review your appeal results and determine the best course of action for your properties moving into the 2019 tax year. The amount you will pay in property taxes for 2019 is directly based on the County’s opinion of Market and Assessed Value for your property. A reduction in your property taxes through a successful appeal of your Fair Market Value will result in an increase in your NOI.
